Thrift Store Gems!

I went to a thrift store today and found these lovely things, the white beaded purse was 3.00, it doesn't have a strap, but has the rings to clip one on, I thought i might use pretty shimmery ribbon for it....

the earrings were good prices, some 50 cents and a couple of them were 2.00 pr....I am going to used them on some of my birdhouses......maybe.....hmmmmm

"Inchie" Swap at SSR

I signed up for the alphie inchie swap at SSR....http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SSReflectionsezine/.....and this is my letter I chose: Z

inchie is cardstock cut up for collaged artwork, colored over with Luminere aqua paint thinned with water, stamped corner florish, stamped the Z, then I punched the flower from pink paper, glued it down and then I put UTEE on it and placed the gem in middle while utee was still wet from hot tool.....

Surprise for my Daughter

My youngest daughter had gall bladder surgery today, she is only 31....I made her a surprise and mailing it out today along with some goodies I picked up at Cracker Barrell for her 2 boys and hubby....She is home and doing well...Technogoly sure has come a long way, so many things are out patient these days that you used to have to spend several days in the hospital....

She lives in WIlmington, NC close to the beach, so I thought I would do something beachy...I used "Wallies" seashells......I hope she likes it....

Blinged out Birdhouse
