ALTERED COMPACT SWAP

There was an altered compact swap at PID,(Paper Imagery Designs) Carla hosted and swapped them out...I got mine today and WOW are they both Beautiful!
This was a very fun to do..Thanks Carla for hosting....

The one on the left was created by Eileen and on the right by Valerie..

I just love them dearly.....

Bedroom

I am finally getting some pics of the re-done bedroom....The first picture is taken into the bi-fold closet mirror doors, I still need to find what I want for the window treatment.....Rod surprised me with the mirror doors while I was in NC during Christmas.... I love them..

Showing some things I am been doing lately......I bought this picture at the thrift store for 1.00, I liked it but the picture looked too dark with the darkness of the frame, so I took it apart and sprayed the front of the frame white and then made a wash of black acrylic paint and water and brushed it on and wiped it back off leaving some into the crevices.....now I like it!

I did this altered altoid tin for a swap I am in on a yahoo art group...I hope my partner will like it.....I had fun altering it......

Artsy stuff

It's been a long time since I last blogged, I seem to spend most of my free time reading other blogs in my Google Reader and going to the yahoo groups I belong to....

So, I thought I would show some of the things I have created lately...

This compact is an old one I have had a while and I enjoyed altering it the most,but I like how both turned out...

I did a couple of bamboo tile pendants, this one I swapped in the Altered stART yahoo group...I will post the one I received tomorrow, its a beauty!
