This is a bowling ball I sprayed painted it purple and then used GE11 silicone glue and put mirrors and half marbles, and dragonflies....coated it wil clear sealer...BB, I found in thrift store for 1.00, the stand at yard sale for .50...I sprayed painted the ash tray stand and also tood off the handle..
This is "Fanny", my Flamingo bowling ball, she has rebar for legs and painted pink, cover the BB with clear half marbles...found the gooseneck lamp at the thrift store for 1.00 and took it apart and turned the shade part around to look like a beak...lol...She was so fun to make and also a great conversation piece...
This is an old toaster I found and took bottom off and took out the insides, replaced the bottom, filled with dirt and planted with mexican heather...
This is a old chandlier that I "curb shopped" and took apart, painted and glued on the white cups (found at TS)....its hanging in a tree in the backyard, the birds drink out of it...

This is my favorite piece of Garden Art Junk!! I got the vent turban at a yard sale for 3.00, primed it and painted with Patio paints in different colors....DH got the 4x4 and put it in the ground for me and attached the turban, then we put long slanted nails in the 4x4 for my bottle tree.when the winds blows, the turban goes around...its really cool....on the fence in the back is a recycled fan blade I painted and put up.......
Hope you have enjoyed the tour!
I am doing this for a contest.....please comment or critique!

Browsing Antique Stores
A friend and I went to a small town yesterday and we had lunch at a very nice sidewalk cafe there.....and we also shared a slice of homemade lemon meringue pie, yummy, it was still slightly warm....
then we walked around the antique stores, I love browsing and finding things I remember seeing when I was young...I only bought these 2 bowls...the pattern is one my grandmother had when I was growing up..I already had a few pieces of it that I have collected...so I just had to get these 2 bowls and add to my collection..and I like that they are very shabby chic looking too.......the lower picture is of a cabinet that was my grandmother's, and I repainted it and added new hardware.....As you can see I love green and pink....I love collecting cookie cutters and other utensils with green handles.....

A POEM ABOUT OUR GIRLFRIENDS
Someone will always be prettier.
Some will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your circumstances.
Think about it!
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored
woman on your job may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know,
she's got the car, the house, the clothes....
might be lonely.
And the word says, "If I have not Love, I am nothing."
So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,
"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed, to be disappointed!"
"Winners make things happen --
Losers let things happen."
Be "blessed" ladies..... and pass this on to encourage another woman.
